Winterfest comes to Unionville

It will look a lot like Christmas in Unionville, Missouri. That's because they're hosting their annual Winterfest this weekend.

Winterfest committee member Mary Frank says the event will feature Norman Rockwell inspired living pictures.

"It will include a lighted parade.  And then around the square, before and after the parade, we will be having living windows.  There are several business windows that will have displays.  They are often Norman Rockwell inspired.  We will also be having live music.  There'll be meals at both the museum and the senior center.  In the library, there'll be visits with Santa for the kids.  We are also having the Community Carol Sing at the Community Center after the event, at the United Methodist Church."

Winterfest is tomorrow evening December 7th, with the parade starting at 5:15 p.m. Winterfest runs until 7 p.m. For more information, call the Putnam County Historical Society.
